Authenticity & Accuracy
The 1947 Knucklehead steering neck is the last of its kind — the final year of Knucklehead production before Harley-Davidson introduced the Panhead in 1948. That makes the 1947 machine a landmark, and restorers working on one expect every component to reflect the correct specifications of that final year. Our replica is investment cast in steel, dimensionally correct to the original 1947 neck casting, and carries the casting numbers that belong on a genuine period restoration.
Cast components carry the original casting numbers as used by Harley-Davidson in period production — a detail we consider essential for any restoration that aims to be truly period-correct.
⚠️
Always weld according to the specifications named in our frame certificate. Deviating from the specified procedures may affect structural integrity and will void the warranty.
